Snowdrops are great naturalising bulbs. Best grown in shade or semi shade, they will thrive in most soils with some varieties flowering in early January. Plant in small groups rather than individually approx 6cm deep. To maintain good flowering we advise that bulbs are fed a top dressing in autumn : bonemeal or very well spent mushroom compost are ideal
